NAHL PROSPECTS CHALLENGE

Now in its sixth year, the NAHL Prospects Challenge is held in conjunction with the prestigious Robertson Cup, the NAHL Championship, this tournament provides NAHL teams with the opportunity to scout, recruit, and educate potential players, while attracting top prospects from across the country.

Prospect Challenge Event Highlights:

  • Purpose: Designed to maximize player exposure and foster competitive development by bringing together top-tier teams for high-level competition.
  • Eligibility: NAHL member clubs are invited to enter 18U team’s (2008’s and 2009’s) and 16U (2010’s and 2011’s) team’s.
  • Format:
    • Teams will compete in a three-game round robin.
    • The top four teams will advance to the semi-final round, culminating in a championship game on Sunday afternoon.
    • All teams are guaranteed at least four games, including consolation or semi-final matches.
    • Games will consist of three, 17-minute periods.

    • 18U Division – Players Ages 2008-09
    • 16U Division – Players Ages 2010-11
  • Why:
    • Participating players gain exposure to NAHL teams, and qualify for Subsidiary Tender
    • Receive MINNESOTA WILDERNESS SWEATSHIRT. 
    • 3 practices to prepare for the tournament with Wilderness Coaching staff. 
    • Coached and ran by Wilderness Coaching Staff  
    • Participate in conjunction with the Robertson Cup Championship.

This is an unparalleled opportunity for players to showcase their talents in front of NAHL teams and scouts while competing at the highest level.
