Business and Operations Director: Brandon Sell
Brandon Sell has been a part of the Minnesota Wilderness organization since 2018, when he began coaching the team’s U16 and U18 programs. A lifelong resident of the Cloquet area, Brandon has deep roots in the local hockey community and a strong commitment to supporting hockey in Northern Minnesota. Over the years, Brandon has become involved in virtually every aspect of the organization. His responsibilities include coordinating team operations, management, player and organizational logistics, sales, sponsorships, and helping oversee the day-to-day business side of the team.
Brandon’s experience at multiple levels of the organization has given him a unique understanding of what it takes to operate a successful hockey program, both on and off the ice. He takes pride in building relationships within the community, supporting players and families, and helping grow the Minnesota Wilderness organization and its connection to the Cloquet community.
Hockey has also become a family affair for the Sell family. Brandon and his family have supported the Wilderness throughout the years, with his three children, ages 18, 14, and 11, growing up attending games and being part of the team’s community. For Brandon, being involved with the Wilderness is about more than hockey—it is about being part of the community he has called home his entire life and helping create a positive experience for players, families, and fans
Director of Media: Madalyn Deane
As Director of Media for both the NAHL and NA3 team, Madalyn oversees the organization’s media operations, including team coverage, content creation, marketing, and advertising. She also assists with merchandise, sponsor marketing, and the coordination of volunteer media staff to help grow the team’s presence both on and off the ice.
Madalyn has been involved with the organization previously and was part of the team’s media efforts during last season’s run to the Robertson Cup Final.

Media Broadcaster: Marty Hill
Marty has been a fixture with the Wilderness since its debut season in 2012-2013.
As the online play-by-play voice on hockeytv.com, he has seen the team celebrate championships in two different leagues, interviewed numerous players & coaches on YouTube & the CAT-7 program Into the Wilderness, and called hundreds of goals both home & away. Marty’s broadcasting work also includes radio play-by-play for local area high school football, baseball, softball and hockey.
