Sunday, January 31st – 

MN Magicians 2 @ MN Wilderness 3 – The Wilderness won their second game of the weekend with a late goal from former Magicians and current Wilderness forward Josh Bohlin. The Wilderness never trailed as they got a 1st period goal from Dominkis Marcinkevics to go up 1-0. Simon Falk tied things up later in the period for the Magicians. The Wilderness regained their one-goal edge in the 2nd period as Gunnar Thoreson scored to make it 2-1. In the 3rd period, the Magicians tied the game at 2-2 at the 7:52 mark as Noah Tussey scored. That would set up for Bohlin’s game-winner which came with just over two minutes remaining in regulation. Jacob Zacharewicz made 26 saves in the win for the Wilderness, while Andy Beran made 29 saves in the loss.


Saturday, January 30th – 

Austin 1 @ MN Wilderness 2 (SO) – Grant Docter scored the lone goal in the shootout as the Minnesota Wilderness topped the Austin Bruins 2-1. Sutter Muzzatti struck first for the Bruins in the second period.  It would remain a 1-0 game until the 16:26 mark of the third period when Mitchell Allard found the back of the net for his fourth goal of the season. Jacob Zacharewicz won his first NAHL game as he made 28 saves and stopped all four shooters he faced in the skills competition. Tyler Shea took the loss in goal despite making 34 saves and stopping three of four in the shootout.
