Wilderness Forward Hanzawa to Play in U20 World Championship for Japan

Minnesota Wilderness Forward CHikara Hanzawa to attend U20 world championships

CLOQUET, MN – Minnesota Wilderness forward Chikara Hanzawa will travel to Lithuania in January to represent team Japan in the 2020 Ice Hockey U20 World Championships. Hanzawa will be playing in the Division II Group A bracket where team Japan will face off against Great Britain, Spain, Serbia, and Lithuania during the tournament.

Hanzawa is currently a forward wearing #14 for the Wilderness.

The 2020 World Championship tournament is hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation [IIHF], which manages a plethora of World Championship and Junior Tournaments around the globe.
