Wilderness Start November by Sweeping Blizzard

CLOQUET, MN – The Minnesota Wilderness traveled on Friday, November 1st to St. Cloud and beat the Blizzard 3-0. The following day, the Blizzard came to Cloquet and left empty-handed, as the Wilderness topped them in OT 3-2.

Friday, #2 Blake Holmes, #18 Tyler Watkins, and #19 Kimball Johnson found the back of the net and the Wilderness ended the game 3-0 over the Blizzard.

Saturday night, the Blizzard came to Wilderness home ice and kept the fight a little more even. Wilderness forward #17 Lewis Crosby netted two goals in during regulation play and the team went into Overtime.

It was Asst. Captain #8 Nate Horn who took a late rush up the center of the rink, splitting the Blizzard defense and sinking the puck between the legs of the Blizzard goaltender, ending the game and securing the Sweep for the Wilderness.
