CLOQUET, MN – On behalf of the entire Minnesota Wilderness organization, we offer our heartfelt condolences to the family of Jackson Pfister as well as his friends, teachers, coaches, and the entire CEC community.
The Minnesota Wilderness will be honoring Jackson and his family by wearing the #15 sticker on their helmets during the remainder of the 19-20 season, and with a moment of silence before the game Friday, October 18th.
Minnesota Wilderness General Manager Dave Boitz commented on the event:
“As many of us are people of faith, we have been taught from a very young age that there is a plan for all of us. It’s times like this that challenge that faith, especially for the younger generation. It’s the incredible love and support from the people around the community that reminds us of the strength from God above that as a community we can help the Pfister family and friends through this tragedy.
We would like to thank Matt and Brooke Pfister for the way they raised their son. Although I personally did not know Jackson, I have come to know many of his friends and loved ones and it is obvious he was a special young man and that his parents are amazing people. ”
