The Minnesota Wilderness are proud to announce that forward Mike Zuffante has committed to play his NCAA Division I Hockey at Bentley University.
Zuffante, a first year player for the Wilderness, is currently tied for 6th in the 24 team-North American Hockey League in rookie scoring.
Head Coach Tim Madsen, in his first year with the Wilderness, says “Our entire organization is very proud of Mike. He is going to be a very good college hockey player with his high hockey IQ & skill level. Mike is an A+ character person who will represent Bentley University very well.”
Zuffante, who will be the 4th player on the current Wilderness roster to have his college plans, says “I am very excited to be attending Bentley University in the fall of 2018. As a small business school just outside the heart of Boston, the University fulfills all of my dreams. I want to thank the Wilderness organization, the coaching staff, and my teammates for get me to this point. I couldn’t be here without them and their support.”
Bentley University is a private co-educational university in Waltham, Massachusetts, 9 miles west of Boston, focused on business. The University is currently building a brand new 45 million dollar multi-purpose arena on campus and is expected to open January of 2018.
