The Minnesota Wilderness acquire Duluth East star, Ash Altmann (brother of current Wilderness forward – Nick Altmann), from the Bismarck Bobcats. “I’m excited to be able to put on the same sweater as my brother again,” said Nick Altmann. Altmann played a total of 24 games with the Bobcats.

Head Coach Tim Madsen on Ash Altmann – “We are excited to have acquired Ash. He will fit right in with the Minnesota Wilderness brand of hockey. He can skate, he has great offensive instincts, and he is not afraid to go to the net.”

The Wilderness are still currently the hottest team in the Central Division; 7-1-1 in the last 9 games, coming off the weekend with a big road sweep verse Minot and Bismarck.

Next homes games will be held on December 16th-17th against the number one team in the division, the Minot Minotauros. You won’t want to miss this Central Division showdown.

The players will be showing off these specialty jerseys while making several public appearances next week:

Monday – St Mary’s Children’s Hospital visit

Wednesday – Applebee’s Meet & Greet and Prize Giveaway

Thursday – Bagging groceries at Super One Foods (Cloquet)
