WILDERNESS REMAIN HOME AND LOOK TO CONTINUE POINT STREAK

CLOQUET, MN – OCTOBER 12th, 2017 – The Minnesota Wilderness, fresh off of winning 2 of their last 3 games and earning 5 of a possible 6 points, return to Northwoods Credit Union Arena this weekend to take on the Coulee Region Chill Friday October 13th
& Saturday October 14th. After going 0-4 at the NAHL’s Showcase in mid-September, the Wilderness will look to climb the standings in the early part of the 2017-2018 season against a Chill team that got off to a similar start. Getting points in 3 straight games, the Wilderness look to continue their success this weekend.

Head Coach Tim Madsen had this to say about the teams’ recent play: “After a slow start, our guys are starting to figure it out. Earning 5 of a possible 6 points in our last 3 games shows positive progress. It’s too early to look at the standings right now as we are focused on getting better and better each day. As we continue to get better every day like we have since the showcase, this team is going to continue to see results in the win column.”

“Coulee Region has a lot of skill and speed. They play a similar style of hockey as we do. It is going to be a tough weekend with two hungry teams fighting for points in the standings.”

The Wilderness are going to be wearing specialty deer hunting jerseys that will be auctioned off in between periods. The jersey’s are sponsored by Enbridge and K1 Sports Wear. There will also be an autograph session after Saturday night’s game where the fans can get autographs, and also pick up any jerseys that were bought in auction.

Discounted tickets for this weekend’s games are available at these ticket outlet sponsors: B&B Market and Super 1 Liquor(both in Cloquet, MN). Doors open at 5:00pm and puck drop is at 7:05 both nights.
