Friday night's contest in Onalaska, WI against the Coulee Region Chill ended in a 6-3 Wilderness loss. The first period ended with the score 0-0. All the Wilderness goals came in the second period. The next goal from Heikkila was (16:39) assists coming from Ivan Chukarov and Michael Covach. Billy Exell scored tying the game at 3-3 to end the second period (18:04) assisted by Thomas Lindstrom. Coulee finished out the game by scoring three more goals.
Saturday night in Elk River the Wilderness came out on top in a game played outdoors. The game was played at night in the Handke Pit outdoor rink. The final score was 4-2. The only scoring play of the first period came from Coulee (14:58). Thomas Lindstrom scored first in the second period (1:29) assisted by Eric Brenk and Billy Exell. Jesse Kessler scored next on a power play (15:53) assist by Jakob Romo. Jakob Romo ended the second period scoring (17:11) assist by Jack Forbort. Coulee added a goal in the third (9:39) making the score 3-2. Jaycob McCombs scored an empty netter unassisted (19:49).
